Krabi is not as commercial as Phuket, and it is almost the same distance to PP island. It has beautiful scenery, fresh and leisure. It is also a paradise for many rock climbers.
Krabi, located in southern Thailand, is a tropical island like paradise. The “shell Tombs” left over from thousands of years ago and the drawings left by the prehistoric ancestors in the caves in the mountains all prove that Krabi was the first place where people lived in Thailand. With more than 30 outlying islands, Krabi is the most beautiful province on the Andaman coast. White and soft yarn, warm and clear water, palm trees swaying with the wind, waterfalls flowing, wild animals shuttling everywhere, poetic, beautiful. Krabi has many beautiful islands and national parks, the most famous of which is Pipi Island, which is the shooting site of the famous film “beach”; Khao Phanom Bencha National Park and Than Bok Khorani National Park are also famous for their rich vegetation and animal population. The sea view of Krabi is famous for its limestone mountain. Here is the lava area, mountains out of the sea, forming a number of different shapes of the island, various, not interesting. There are not many names, most of them are nameless; there are not many lively ones, most of them are cold, so casually, it seems to be scattered on the green sea by an “invisible hand”, which is the most eye-catching scene of Jiami. Because of this, compared with Phuket, Krabi’s beautiful mountains and waters are more beautiful.
The most famous limestone mountain is Khao khanap Nam, which is regarded as the symbol of Krabi. Looking from the boat, it was a green mountain. When we went to the island, we knew that it was a huge cave, but it was hard to see outside, because the walls of the cave were covered with vines, and we didn’t know where the cave was hidden. This is the scene of the film “Swiss Family Robinson”. This cave is Robinson’s home. The wooden steps on one side of the hole are specially built for making movies, while the real hole is hidden on the other side and goes deep through the cracks in the rocks.
The weather of Krabi is very similar to that of Phuket. November to next April is the best tourist season. In November, not only is Krabi a bustling scene, but the sky also shows mild sunshine. The sea is blue and the waves are gentle. You can dive comfortably and have intimate contact with the fish. In the middle of April, there is a very grand water splashing Festival.
The rainy season of Krabi is from April to September every year. However, compared with Phuket, even in the rainy season, it may not rain every day. Sometimes it will not rain for more than ten days, and it will be sunny for more than ten days.
Compared with Phuket and pipi, the price of Krabi is a little expensive, and the choice is not very big. Therefore, it’s better not to arrange simple shopping in Krabi. If you happen to see something close to your eyes, you can buy it no later. However, local specialties of Krabi, such as caviar and dried fish, can be purchased locally and are very popular. Local products shopping is mainly concentrated in utarakit Road north of Krabi town. If you want to buy daily necessities, you can go to 7-11. There are 7-11 convenience stores in Krabi town and Ao Nang beach, where the price is low. The prices of other tourist souvenirs here are on the high side, and it is difficult to counter-offer.
